AMARILLO,TEXAS -- Any idea how many years there are in a million minutes?

The kids over at Margaret Wills Elementary know all too well about the size of a million, now.

They started collecting a million pinto beans last September and they finally met their goal.

They've also used the bean as a type of a study guide to learn about math, where they can be found in the world and today- they had a carnival day filled with games using beans, according to teacher Jeani Longstreth.

"We had no idea how many a million was...but we've used it in our lessons. We added, subtracted, multiplied...culminating in today's games like a carnival."
