AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Pronews 7 has confirmed that Sharyland has filed an affidavit with the Texas Public Utility Commission which listed additional collateral received by the company.

Earlier this week, the Dallas Morning News reported wind power generators raised $605,000 in additional collateral. A shortfall in collateral could have delayed a plan to build transmission lines that would send windpower generated in the Texas Panhandle to electric grids downstate. The filings state a total of $605,000 of additional collateral was posted, representing 60.5 MW of capacity. That amount is in addition to the $13,250,000 of collateral that represents 1,325 MW of capacity that was previously posted by renewable developers.

More documents are due to the PUC next week.
