BORGER, TEXAS -- A 79-year-old bicyclist has died after being hit by a car in Borger.

Borger police say a 16-year-old driver was driving down Main Street, and didn't see Eugene Davis. The driver struck Davis in the 100 block of 3rd Street. He was transported to Golden Plains Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

As of now, no charges are expected to be filed in reference to the crash. However, the investigation is ongoing.
