WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) - Authorities say three of the four inmates who broke out of a northern Texas jail have been captured.
Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says four men were discovered missing about 7 a.m. Thursday during a routine inmate check -- about 30 minutes after they'd been seen at breakfast. They apparently climbed out through the top bars and a vent to the roof at the Wichita County Jail Annex. The building is under construction.
After a massive manhunt, authorities captured 22-year-old Jimmy Noel Hughes, 19-year-old James Thomas McLendon and 21-year-old Daniel Cecilio Ramos.
The fourth inmate remains at large. His name is unclear. Authorities say he may have been misidentified as another man with a similar name.
