BORGER, TEXAS -- The Borger police department needs your help finding two people involved in an aggravated robbery. It happened at 10:15 a.m. at the intersection at 5th and Hedgecoke after an employee of Taco Bell left the store in her car to make a deposit at a downtown bank. Police believe she was headed to Wells Fargo.
Lieutenant Griffin with the Borger PD said the department believes the suspects were watching Taco Bell and then followed the employee from the store.
Once the employee got to the four-way intersection and stopped at the stop sign, the suspects stopped behind her car. That's when the passenger in the car following the employee got out went up to her window with a semi-automatic hand gun and demanded the bank bag.
The men left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect's car is described as an older model faded dark blue or grey 4-door passenger car; it has paint chips and rust spots. Both are described as white men. The suspect in the passenger seat is in his mid-20's with shaggy brown hair, a short thick mustache and goatee and has a small tattoo on the right side of his neck.
He was last seen wearing a dark colored short sleeve shirt, t-shirt and blue jeans. If you have any information you're asked to call Borger police.
