Guymon pastor kidnapped in Mexico, found safe

GUYMON, OKLA. -- UPDATE: FBI agents said that Refugio Villa, 45, pastor of the First Hispanic Baptist Church in Guymon, was said to have been kidnapped in Mexico, last Wednesday, has been found. The FBI said that Villa was found at the Columbus crossing entry point into Mexico, he was said to be fine and unharmed. The pastor, was interviewed by FBI agents after he was found, no word yet on what came of that interview.
The FBI assisted the Guymon police in the investigation, into the reported kidnapping.
On Wednesday, September 29, Villa was in Juarez, Mexico getting some dental work done, when the church said he was kidnapped. The person we spoke with at the church said that those holding him captive wanted money for his release.

A local pastor has been kidnapped in Mexico. The FBI is in Guymon, Oklahoma, investigating the kidnapping report.
The pastor, Refugio Villa, 45, is from the First Hispanic Baptist Church. We're told he was in Juarez, Mexico on Wednesday getting some dental work done. That's when church members believe he was kidnapped, they said those holding Villa captive want money for his release.
The FBI did confirm they are assisting the Guymon Police Department with the investigation. Special Agent Clay Simmonds said they are also talking with the family to validate the origin of the claims, and they are working on getting Villa home safely. Simmonds said he can't comment any further on an active investigation.
