FRITCH, TEXAS -- Lake Meredith has hit another milestone, as the level dropped below 40 feet. The lake is currently sitting at 39.90 feet, once again setting an all time record.
That news comes on the heels of a meeting of the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority board that is set for Wednesday.
The board is expected to address the amount of water it's member cities will get next year. Meredith serves as one of the main sources of drinking water for 11 cities in the Panhandle.
A ProNews 7 crew will be at the meeting and will provide information on the outcome of the board's decision.
