AMARILLO, TX -- Students at Tradewind Elementary paid tribute to veterans and law enforcement officials today with a special program on this holiday.

The vets were guests of honor in a parade where they walked through the halls with kids on all sides giving them handmade flowers and well wishes.

After the parade, vets and other guests were treated to poems and songs to honor the men and women who serve out community and who are the heroes to these students who wanted to pay tribute to them today.
