AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A soldier made his way through Amarillo Monday and even though he suffered substantial injuries while serving in Iraq -- he still has no regrets.

Sergeant Dustin Hill suffered several injuries from a suicide car bomb in 2004 when a bomb inside a car exploded next to his Humvee.

That incident took both of his hands, one eye, ear and nearly his life, but Sergeant Hill has a different outlook.

"I've had it pretty easy you know a lot of the guys have it a lot harder than I do. A lot of the guys have a lot of the post traumatic stress disorder they have to deal with everyday and the nightmares they're dealing with. I'm lucky enough that I don't suffer from that, so I won't complain," said Dustin Hill, Retired Sergeant.

Sergeant Hill is making his way to Estelline where he will be mule deer hunting with the Honorable Julie Mogenis from south Texas.

Sergeant Hill is from Illinois.
