AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The city of Amarillo, and all of the panhandle, is looking forward to the Annual Electric Light Parade.

It's put on by Center City every year, and this year, the theme is a Candy Land Christmas. It's a theme that the folks over at Display Concepts are running with.

They've transformed a flatbed trailer into a candy-land house, with gum drops, lollypops, and lots of snow. The display lights up with more than 10,000 lights, and making a float is something this group has been doing for 14 years.

"It's fun to do, everyone enjoys it, everyone gets involved and letting people enjoy the lights and seeing the children light up you know," said Jim Synder, the designer of Display Concepts.

The parade gets started Friday night at 6 p.m. It's starting line is 10th Avenue and Polk Street.
