AMARILLO, TEXAS -- 400 teens will get the opportunity to shop for new clothes and shoes thanks to help from the community.
Teen Christmas is a non-profit organization that aides underprivileged teens in our area.
"They're going to be going into their adult years very soon and they need that self esteem, they need that positive gift from the community -- it can change their life and to the whole direction of their life," said D.J. Stubben, Owner of Welcome Pardner.
Teens are registered through the Salvation Army and each one receives a $50 voucher to shop at Walmart.
"I'm very blessed cause it's very rare that something gets to happen to our family, and we get to have things like that it's actually kind of pretty cool. It's just really good that some people are willing to do charity for others," said Briana Dillard, Teen Christmas Recipient.
Dillard says she plans on buying a new pair of shoes and some new pants.
Donations for causes like this one can be made online at Welcome Pardner.
