GUYMON, OKLAHOMA (AP) -- Updated Information:
ProNews Seven has confirmed with Guymon Chief of Police, Eddie Adamson, that a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train this morning.
Adamson said no more information will be released until they contact family members. Officers are currently conducting an investigation into the specifics of how the death happened.

Authorities in the Oklahoma panhandle town of Guymon say a pedestrian was killed by a train in an accident early Christmas morning.
The Guymon Herald reports that all rail crossings in the town but one were closed for several hours, blocked by stationary train cars, as authorities investigated the accident and awaited the arrival of a medical examiner.
Detail on the victim, such as sex, age and name, were unavailable, as were specifics on how the death occurred.
