AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Tuesday Amarillo City Commissioners proposed changes to the Amarillo Transit bus routes, and they passed with a five to zero vote.

Brett Lawler of the Amarillo City Transit gave a presentation to change the routes to improve on time performance and to put in new bus stops.

There are changes that are going to be made to all eight routes around the City of Amarillo. Those changes include little things like adding more head-way time to more involved changes like adding more stops and removing areas from the route itself.

According to Lawler more information will be posted on the City of Amarillo website or go by their office located at 801 E. 23rd Avenue.
