AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Former Amarillo College president Dr. Bud Joyner was named interim CEO of the Amarillo Area Foundation at their 53rd Annual meeting.

Joyner is a past chair and board member of the Amarillo Area and Harrington Foundations. He is currently working as an independent consultant for community colleges and non-profit organizations.

The search to replace longtime CEO Jim Allison is still ongoing. Allison retired from the position after 22 years on the job in December.
