AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you know any information about Timothy Rosales III, you could get a cash reward of up to $7,500. Rosales is a high risk sex offender, who is one of the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives in the state. Information leading to his arrest is now worth that cash reward of $7,500. All calls, texts, or e-mails are anonymous. The original reward was $5,000, but authorities have now upped the ante, as they continue their search.
Authorities say that 39-year-old Rosales cut off his electronic monitoring device and fled from a Houston halfway house on Monday. Officials are targeting Denton and Amarillo and surrounding areas because he has family members in both cities. He also sometimes goes by Timothy Rosales Jr.
He is considered armed and dangerous and was originally convicted of two aggravated sexual assaults in Potter County in 1987. He is now wanted on a felony charge of violating civil commitment, and a parole violation charge. Anyone caught assisting him could also face charges.
Rosales is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and a shaved head, with scars on his right and left arms, right wrist and on his back, chest, and head. He has tattoos on his left shoulder, arm and leg, and on his back and chest. His right arm is also discolored.
