AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Valentine's Day is upon us, which means tons of flowers, jewelry and chocolates will soon be changing hands.

Do you want to try something different this year? Stacy Johnson from moneytalksnews.org checked into a couple of ideas.

Johnson found that instead of buying an expensive piece of jewelry from Tiffany's, you could buy your special someone an entire store! Right now, you can buy one share of Tiffany's stock for $63.36. But women he surveyed on the idea said no, that is not a good gift.

So what about having a star named after you?

Some websites will let you name a star after your loved one for around $20. But will it put a twinkle in their eye? Surveyed women also said no way.

How about breakfast in bed? Johnson said the women he surveyed said that would be ok, as long as it wasn't the only gift they got on Valentine's Day.

So what was the number one requested gift? Of course it was the girl's best friend, diamonds.
