AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If one legislator has his way, people with a concealed handgun license will be able to take their guns to more places -- specifically the parking lot of their job.

State Representative Four Price co-authored  House Bill 681 to allow people with a concealed handgun license's to leave their gun in their vehicle while they are at work.

Representative Price says the bill is needed because several employers do not allow guns on their property.

"The practice effectively denies a law-abiding citizen to protect him or herself while traveling to and from work. I firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment and will continue to do all I can to defend and promote our Constitutional Rights," said Representative Price.
