Make-A-Wish Car Show

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Make-A-Wish Foundationis hosting their annual Car Show this weekend. Friday, car enthusiasts started bringing their classics down to the Civic Center to set up. They want to make sure the cars are bright and shiny. It's the show's 27th Year for the event. All proceeds benefit the local Make-A-Wish, which helps the grant the wishes of terminally ill children.

"Make A Wish is a great organization and they need as much as possible because it cost a lot of do those wishes. So we're on board with them all the way," Barry Henson, Car Show Chairman.

"We got 100 years of cars from 1909 all the way up and tractors and go carts and motorcycles. You name it, they're here. So any kind of car you want to see will be in this building," said Henson.

The event is Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. It cost $5.00 for adults, $3 for kids, and for those under 5 the event is free.
