PERRYTON, TEXAS -- The Grinch who stole Christmas in Perryton has been arrested.

Based on a Crime Stoppers tip and investigation by the Perryton Police Department, one juvenile and three others are in custody for burglarizing several places in the last few months, including Toys for Tots.

Tony Herndon, 18, Katherine Cain, 17, and Carlos Gutierrez, 20, all of Perryton were arrested in connection with nine burglaries and three attempted burglaries in Perryton.

Police say they are still investigating the burglaries and one more adult and one more juvenile are being sorted into the investigation.

It was back in Dec. 2010, when more than $1,500 in presents was stolen.
