HANSFORD COUNTY, TEXAS -- Update 5:27 p.m.
Pronews 7 is being told the fire is beginning to be under control.

Another grassfire has sparked up in the Panhandle, this time in Hansford County.

The Hansford County Sheriff's Office tells Pronews 7 the call came in at about 2:55 p.m. Thursday. Since then, the fire has moved approximately five miles.

It's moving along Highway 207 and is 5.5 miles northwest of Gruver.

Nine fire units are working to battle the blaze and no structures have burned, only grass. Officials say the fire is moving to the north.
