A 13-month-old was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was found with serious injury to her head.

The Amarillo Fire Department was called to the San Jacinto neighborhood on North Florida Street on a child not breathing. She was admitted into the Pedi-ICU in critical condition.

Child Protective Services and Special Crimes are now conducting a joint investigation. No arrests have been made in this on-going case.
