J. Crew recently released an ad where a young boy was having his designer mother paint his toenails neon pink.

The ad, according to Fox News, was in a feature that was emailed to customers last week. It included creative director Jenna Lyons' favorite products. One of her favorite products was a hot pink Essie nail polish. The ad showed a picture of her son getting his toenails painted.

Under the picture was the caption, "Lucky for me I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink. Toenail painting is way more fun in neon."

While this may seem harmless, it ignited a fire storm of controversy.

On FoxNews.com, psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow wrote, "This is a dramatic example of the way that our culture is being encouraged to abandon all trappings of gender identity."

Others agreed, including Media Research Center's Eric Brown. He called the ad propaganda that celebrates transgendered children.

We want to know what you think! Do you think this ad that showed a mother painting her son's nails pink is okay?
