AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo, once again, has the highest gas prices in the State.

According to AAA Texas, Amarillo average price of $3.58 a gallon is the highest in Texas. Corpus Christi, Dallas and Fort Worth also have this price.

The lowest gas in Texas is in Beaumont at $3.51 a gallon.

The average price for retail gas in Texas dropped by a penny this week to $3.57 a gallon. The national average went down five cents to $3.68 a gallon.

AAA Texas says gas prices continue to go down as crude oil prices stayed below $99 a barrel.
