Two people were taken to the hospital after a Saturday morning crash. 

It happened around 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of south Western. 

A 2001 dodge pickup was crossing the street in the middle of the block when it failed to yield right of way from a private drive. 

It collided with the motorcycle. 

John Glenn Klaus, 52, was the driver of that vehicle and he and his female rider, Bari Gay Riggs, 41, were taken to local hospitals with possible severe injuries. The driver of the pickup was later located and identified as Darrel Ken, 41. 

Police said alcohol was a factor in this collision.
