Amarillo: Home of the most expensive gas in Texas

It may seem like 'Groundhog Day.'
Amarillo has yet again, the highest gas prices in the state. According to AAA Texas, the average price of unleaded gasoline in the city is $3.48, higher than the state average of $3.44.
The state average went down eight cents in the last week. Texas's average is still below the national average of $3.54. As for the cheapest gas in the state, Beaumont has gas at $3.38 a gallon.
2.7 million Texans are expected to hit the road and travel 50 miles or more over the Fourth of July holiday.
