The Panhandle celebrates freedom: Fourth of July event list

Nope. Fireworks are banned throughout much of Pronews 7 country but fear not, there are still many activities to celebrate America's 235th birthday!

Amarillo
July 4th Celebration
Food, games, entertainment and live music start at 5 at John Stiff Park.
Laser light show around 9:30 with movie on the screen following. No charge to enter.
Honor Flight Cookout Fundraiser
11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Canyon
Canyon's Independence Day Celebration on July 4
All day celebration starting with Pancake Breakfast at 7:30, Parade at 10:30, Vendor far at the Square in the afternoon.
Live music and entertainment at Conner Park starting at 6. No charge to enter.
Laser light show around 9:50 at Conner Park with movie on the screen following
Dumas
10th Annual World Champion Mud Volleyball Tournament starts at 8:30 at McDade Park on July 4
Arts, crafts, entertainments, food vendors from 11 a.m. until 5. No charge to enter.
Honor Ceremony for Veterans a 4:00.
Clovis
Smoke on the Water on July 4
Possibly the area's only fireworks show in the area. Officials expect many people from around the area to travel to the area.
Live music, entertainment, food vendors starting at 2 at Green Acres Park. No charge to enter.
Fireworks start near dark set to soundtrack broadcast on radio. Fireworks are shot over the lake.
Clarendon
134th Annual Saints' Roost Celebration
Events throughout the entire weekend including rodeos, a turtle race, a parade and live music.
Hereford
Freedom Celebration on Saturday, July 2.
Parade starts a 10
Games, food vendors, live music following parade. No charge to enter.
Wellington
Wellington Rodeo
Rodeos on Friday and Saturday nights. Rodeo dances following.
