A Canyon man was killed on Highway 152 in Gray County after Troopers say he hit the back of two vehicles.

Officials say 46-year-old Donald Sweet of Canyon came up and hit the back of a Dodge truck. The Dodge truck then hit a semi. The accident happened while the Dodge truck and semi were stopped at a construction site with a flagman around 9 a.m. Thursday.

Sweet was airlifted to Northwest Texas Hospital where he later died during surgery.

Troopers say Sweet was not wearing a seatbelt.
