Pronews 7 has confirmed that David Lovett is now in satisfactory condition.

Interstate 40 was backed up for a while late Thursday morning due to a motorcycle accident.Amarillo Police say David Lovett, 52, was traveling west bound on I-40 going into the interchange headed for downtown. That's when he lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson, hit the curb and flew into the grass median.
Lovett was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
