AMARILLO, TEXAS -- 10 people who contracted Salmonella at an Amarillo IHOP have been awarded more than a million dollars.
A Potter County jury returned the verdict that wrapped up a 2008 case where those ten people allegedly became sick from eating at the IHOP on Western Street.
Investigation into the issue found the water baths used to keep syrup pitchers warm caused the problem.
$140,000 was rewarded to each of the 10 people who were sick.
