AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A man is now behind bars after being charged with with burglary Wednesday morning.

Amarillo Police responded to the 1600 block of East 3rd on a possible burglary in process at about 8:30 Wednesday morning.

As officers were waiting for a K-9 handler, a man was seen climbing out of the building, police said.

The man, 57-year-old Raymond Gonzales Lopez of Amarillo, was taken into custody for questioning. He was later booked and charged for Burglary of a Building.
