An Amarillo man was killed early Saturday morning after he was pinned underneath an ATV, police said.

According to Collingsworth County Sheriff's Office, they received a call of an ATV wreck about nine miles west of Wellington on County Road W just after midnight. The incident was on a ranch in a plowed field.

Two Amarillo men were on a Polaris ATV driving southwest when they tried to make a right turn. That's then the ATV overturned on its side and threw the men off, police said.

Randall Rogers, 41, was pinned under the vehicle. He was transpored to the Collingsworth General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word yet on the condition of the driver, Kelly Bain, 45.
