Doctors may be able to diagnose autism at an earlier age.
According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, autistic kids may have more brain cells than other children.
Researchers studied the brain tissue of 13 deceased boys and found that those with autism had more than sixty percent more brain cells than those who weren't.
They also found the brains of those with autism were nearly 18 percent heavier than the other brains.
Currently scientists stress right it is early, and more research still needs to be done.
