AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The staff of the magazine at Amarillo College, the AC Current, has read their own stories about volunteering and decided it's time for them to help.
They decided it would be a good way to promote their magazine and give back by helping out City Church and its christmas box project.
They take donations for children starting at newborns all the way up to teens, but since people tend to donate toys and baby clothes so much, they are running short on stuff for the teens.
"The teens kind of go under the radar, nobody really notices them and gets them stuff, and they really need stuff too. Pajama pants, the cool socks and house shoes things like that, body sprays and hair accessories, things like that they really need," said AC Current Editor, Christa Glasgow.
If you would like to donate, you can drop items off at the various boxes around the AC campus or at City Church until Friday.
