AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Monday, Potter County moved forward with filling the seat of the late Potter County Commissioner, Manny Perez.

Potter County Judge Arthur Ware elected Mercy Murguia on Monday and on Tuesday she was sworn in as Potter County Commissioner Precinct Two. Murguia currently works from home as an Implementation Consultant for SCI Solutions Inc. She is a lifelong resident of Potter County Precinct Two and she says feels very humbled and honored to have been chosen.
