AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The temperatures are expected to fall this week.
That means more people, especially children, are going to need coats, and that's where Eveline Rivers steps in.
Her coat drive provides children with a coat, a hat, and a pair of gloves.
She says it's very important they get something they like so they will definitely wear it.
The problem is they don't always have what the kids want, and she says they could use donations in a few areas.
"Our small coats, 2T, 3T, 4T, we need updating in girls 10, 12 and we need updating in adult coats that look like teenagers. It's important we fit them in something which they are very proud."
Also, the Eveline Rivers Christmas Project is also working on wrapping gifts, and they could use more coloring books, spiral notebooks, and notebook paper.
