Counterfeit money being passed around Pampa

PAMPA, TEXAS -- Officials in Pampa are on the lookout for whoever is responsible for passing around counterfeit $20 bills.
According to the Pampa Police Department, it received four reports of counterfeit $20 bills being passed around. At that time, it began notifying the public.
As of Monday, police told Pronews 7 they received five more counterfeit reports. That's a total of nine.
Officials said businesses are passing them off to the consumer and vice versa.
The Secret Service visited with merchants throughout Pampa Wednesday to help them identify genuine and counterfeit money.
At this time, there are no known suspects, police said.
