AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Many parents of our soldiers would love nothing more than to get their service man or woman home for the holidays, and Tuesday one Panhandle mom got just that.
America Supports You Texas hosted a welcome home rally for Army 12 Bravo Combat Engineer Ja Toris Finney, who made his way home from Iraq.
Finney, who has been stationed there for nearly a year, says he couldn't be any happier than being home for the holidays.
"I'm just overjoyed, I am so excited, this is going to be the best christmas ever having him home, knowing he made it home safely," said Finney's Mother, Renay Sutton.
"I know she feels probably better than I do, I know she's so happy right now," said Finney.
America Supports You Texas will be hosting welcome home rallies through the remainder of the year and through the holidays and they encourage you to come and join them in putting out the red carpet for them.
