AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you're a student, there's a good chance as this new semester begins, you'll be looking for a way to keep your grades up.
To that end, the Amarillo Public Library has some new resources you may be interested in.
Starting Monday, a homework lab will be held at the east branch location monday through thursday from 4-6 p.m. each day school is in session.
It will be offering access to computers and online resources, and a staff member will be there to help each student take advantage of the research materials.
"We know not everyone has computer access, we kind of take it for granted, but that's just now the case. There's a lot of students who don't have computer access at home, so we're hoping that's who we can target and really help," said East Branch Librarian, Cindi Wynia.
Students can use the homework lab as often as they'd like, but they must bring homework and study materials to participate.
