Suspects linked to several Amarillo armed robberies

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Police are searching for two people who may be linked to several weekend robberies.

According to Amarillo Police, two individuals walked into the The Executive Inn at 2100 South Coulter at about 10:30 Saturday evening. The suspects, police said, demanded money from the cash register.

The first suspect is described as being 6'1"-6'2" tall, wearing a dark hoodie with the word "igger" written on the front. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect may have been shorter and may have been armed with some type of weapon. They were also wearing a dark mask, gray hoodie and a blue vest over the the top.

After the clerk removed the cash drawer, the taller suspect took it, police said. Both took of running.

The description of these suspects are very similar to those of other robberies, police said. Those robberies are from the Toot-N-Totum at 1736 South Nelson and 6802 Wolflin Friday evening. The robberies happened within 45 minutes of each other. At these robberies, there was a third suspect who is described as smaller and slimmer than the other two.

Surveillance video, according to police, indicated the suspects may be the same in both convenience store locations.
