Super Bowl commercials to benefit NASCAR

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Everyone watching Super Bowl XLVI- and the oh-so-entertaining Super Bowl commercials- will see a certain someone in more ads than any other celebrity.
According to ESPN, NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will appear in two GoDaddy.com commercials, more than any other well-known person.
NASCAR Chief Marketing Officer Steve Phelps said Patrick's appearances in the commercials will be good advertisement for NASCAR even though she won't be driving a stock car in them.
"Any time our sport is presented to new audiences on a broad scale, it is great for NASCAR," he said.
The Nielsen Company said 111 million people watched the 2011 Super Bowl, and that benefits both Patrick and NASCAR as Patrick will likely be the only driver featured during the three-hour telecast.
