Bad news if you drive.
Petroleum analysts are expecting the price of gasoline to sharply increase in the next few days.
"I expect stations to increase prices as much as five to 20 cents per gallon by the conclusion of the weekend with some stations starting to raise prices immediately," says Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst.
DeHaain said that a refinery fire in the state of Washington is causing gas prices to increase throughout the entire West Coast region. The Great Lakes area is seeing prices increase by 30-40 cents per gallon.
Gas prices, according to GasBuddy.com, are also rising fast in New England, Florida and parts of the East Coast.
