CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO -- An explosion has rocked the City of Clovis, New Mexico.
Emergency responders were called to the H20 Express at 11th and Prince between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Fire Marshal Allen Silvers tells Pronews 7 that the owner of the business was transported by helicopter to Lubbock's Burn Center.
Two other people were injured, however, the severity of those injuries is not known at this time.
Ray Green, who lives just blocks from the explosion, says he smelled gas and could feel the explosion shake his house.
"I was sitting in my living room and all of sudden I heard a burst, a loud explosion and the house rattled a little bit and later I heard fire and emergency vehicles and saw the lights," said Green.
He also says he noticed that the business's windows were blown out. Witnesses also say there was debris scattered.
Fire Marshal Silvers says the business has several chemicals inside, and is investigating the exact cause of that explosion.
