Amarillo teen stabbed more than 20 times

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An 18-year-old man was treated for more than 20 stab wounds after an overnight fight in east Amarillo on Thursday.
The man is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Apache at about 1:00 Thursday morning. Police said upon arrival, an abandoned vehicle was found in the middle of the road with several blood spots in the area.
Witnesses told police there was fight near the vehicle with two men fighting another man. One of them was armed with a pistol, witnesses sad.
Police were also dispatched to the hospital because of an 18-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Friends told police they found him near I-40 and Grand with the stab wounds and they transportedd him to the hospital.
Jordan Bustoz, 20, came to the Amarillo Police Department where he reported he had been a victim of robbery at gunpoint. Police said a subsequent investigation led them to believe Bustoz and the 18-year-old stabbing victim had been involved in some sort of dispute over narcotics at the scene on Apache.
Bustoz, according to police, was transported to the Potter County Jail where he was booked on a charge of Delivery of Marijuana.
A 16-year-old companion was booked into the Youth Center of the High Plains on the same charge.
Police said the robbery and aggravated assault incidents are both still under investigation.
