SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - A pension fund that represents state and local government retirees is asking six retired managers from the city of Santa Fe to repay thousands of dollars. The recipients were overpaid for more than a year because of an error that went unnoticed.

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - A new report says New Mexico is among the nation's leaders in production of electricity from solar power. The Solar Energy Industry Association says New Mexico ranked fourth nationally last year in photovoltaic solar system installations by residential and commercial customers and utilities. New Mexico ranked seventh in 2010.

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - US Marshals have tracked down and arrested a Farmington man wanted in the fatal shooting of a man in southwest Colorado. Marshals say 19-year-old Tommy Mitchell was arrested after being tracked to a trailer park in Farmington on Friday. Authorities say Mitchell and another teen drove to Ignacio, Colo., on Tuesday to collect a drug debt and fatally shot 39-year-old Joey Benavidez because he couldn't pay.

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (AP) - A memorial service will take place tonight for a Rio Rancho teen killed in a car crash. Adrian Garcia was a sophomore football player and runner at V. Sue Cleveland High School and a city police officer's son. The 16-year-old died last Thursday when his car crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed into a pickup carrying a woman and her 6-year-old daughter. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
