Carver ECA pre-K students turned into circus animals and entertainers Friday afternoon at their annual circus performance.

The students put on two performances for their parents and classmates.

Allison Woodington, a kindergarten teacher at Carver, says it is their way to show their parents what they have been working on all year in a fun and social way.

And she says it also helps the students with their social and motor skills.

"It is a time for our pre-k students to use their imagination," said Woodington. "And to come out and do some wonderful dances. They've worked so hard the past couple months putting this stuff together and they're so excited to put this on for everybody."

Pre-K students at Carver have been putting on a circus performance for the past nine years.
