AMARILLO, TEXAS -- It's that time of year again for the annual Parade of Homes.

It's a showcase of prominent builders in the area finished work and the public is invited to tour 31 homes.

It's put on by the Texas Panhandle Builders Association.

Parade of Homes has been happening for over 50 years, and features the latest and greatest trends in building homes.

This year, homes are on display in 13 different neighborhoods and range in price from $138,000 to over a million.

TPBA invites the public to walk through these featured homes and find gourmet kitchens, spa-like master baths and exquisite interiors and exteriors.

"If they're looking to build now or in the future they have the opportunity to meet with the builders and see the finish products," said Lew Bradshaw, TPBA.

"The draw of the different types of homes that you're going to be able to see. We've got a large contemporary home, we've got one that has a one piece winding staircase in it. We got some fabulous outdoor living areas," said Bradshaw.

Parade of Homes runs Thursday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You do have to purchase a ticket to look at the homes.

You can find those at Pak-A-Sak, United Super Markets or any Parade Home site for $10.00. Children 12 and younger are free.

If you visit all 31 homes, your name will be entered to win a $5,000 kitchen makeover by Marble Depot, Inc. You'll also be entered to win $500.
