Amarillo's gas prices are the lowest in Texas, survey says

The price of gasoline is slowly going down across the Lone Star State and Amarillo still holds the title for the least expensive gas in the state.
That according to AAA Texas and its weekly retail gasoline prices survey of metro cities.
Last week's gas price average for Amarillo was listed at $3.46 per gallon. This week's average is $3.43.
Amarillo was listed as the city with the most expensive gasoline several times last year. Already in 2012, Amarillo has had the least expensive gas numerous times.
At this time last year, AAA Texas reported Amarillo's average price for gas at $3.77 per gallon.
Texas' average declined by a nickel last week to $3.56 per gallon. The most expensive gas in the state can be found in El Paso at $3.69 per gallon.
Nationally, gas prices are also slithering down. The national average dropped 2 cents to land at $3.72 per gallon.
