Out and about this next week, the Texas Department of Transportation says motorists can expect delays throughout Amarillo because of construction projects.

Paul Braun, TxDOT spokesman, said all projects are subject to change because of the weather, emergency work and other unexpected events.

-- On the I-40 frontage roads, expect continued lane closures in both directions from Loop 335 (Soncy) to Atkinson Road for seal-coat work.
-- On I-27, expect the north bound right lane to be closed from Hollywood Street to Western Street for a mill and paving operation.
-- On I-40, expect one lane in each direction to be closed at the Georgia and Crocket overpasses for bridge joint work. Expect at least one lane to be closed in each direction for the next 5 to 7 weeks.
