GRAY COUNTY, TEXAS -- A 54-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash six miles east of Pampa.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 1999 Chevrolet Pickup, driven by 54-year-old Douglas Loman of Stratford, was traveling westbound on TX 152 at about 12:45 p.m. That's when the pickup, according to DPS, was attempting to turn westbound onto US 60.

DPS said a 2007 Ford pickup then struck the Chevrolet pickup on the driver side of the vehicle.

Loman was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, authorities said.
