AMARILLO, TEXAS -- More than 600 communities across the country participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, the nation's largest fundraiser to bring in money to support the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Amarillo's walk is Saturday, Sept. 8, at Sam Houston Park. Check-in and registration begin at 9 a.m. and the walk ceremony starts at 10 a.m. Registration is free. The distance of the walk is two miles. All proceeds raised will go to fund research and aid patients who are living with the disease.
